Personnel files detail handling of sexual abuse cases By JUSTIN POPE Associated Press BOSTON Nearly 1000 pages of priest personnel files made public Tuesday painted the most detailed picture yet of how the' Boston Archdiocese handled sex abuse allegations A lawyer claimed they showed church officials failed to aggressively deal with even those priests who admitted to abuse were not allegations was convicted of attempted sexual abuse of a child in 1996 It was not clear if the conviction was related to this lawsuit He served six months in prison and paid a $1295 fine The lawsuit filed Tuesday
