Lewis whom she married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and eternity on their 26th anniversary. Also preceded by her youngest son, Richard C. Lewis. She met and married Cecil B. Jacob-son in the Jordan River Temple for time.

They spent 10 years together and traveled extensively around the world. She moved to St. George, Utah in 2005 where she has acquired many friends in her ward. She loved her church and had served in the Relief Society. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the St.

George Care Center for their loving attention they have shown her over her last years. Also her dear friends in the Sage Creek Ward whom have shown her their loving support. Services will be held at the Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Dr. Holiday, Utah, on Friday, June 3rd, 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in the Salt Lake Cemetery. Mary Afton Barclay Morrill 7271926 to 5282011 story teller, and each, like the story of her own life, carried a message to uplift and inspire. She will be greatly missed. In her later years, Dwain and she divided their time between Bountiful and St. George to take advantage of the good climate of each place.

Mary is survived by her husband, Dwain Ross Morrill, her three children: Jane (Charles) Driscoll, Andrew (Holley) Morrill, and Leland (Sharlene) Morrill, her sister Juanita (Bruce) Wainwright, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all of them. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Robert A. Barclay and David L. Barclay, and one grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the North Canyon 5th Ward, 2505 South Davis Blvd. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 2, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and at the Ward prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful.

Michael Daniel Beardshear LAS VEGAS, NEV. Joseph Cottam Oliphant died May 30, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born July 19, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ, he was raised in Toquerville, Utah and attended school in Hurricane. He served an LDS Mission in 1964 to the Philippines. He married Shanna Lee Hafen, January 1977, in the St.

George LDS Temple. They had 1 son Travis Joe Oliphant. Joseph worked as a mechanic in Las Vegas. He is survived by wife, and his son Travis; brothers and sisters: Clair, Gertrude, Margaret, Burt, Jenne, Ruth, Therma, Barbara, Harry, and C.F. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday June 3, 2011 at the LDS Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, 1775 North Christy Lane.

Friends may call prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 at the chapel. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Las Vegas. Rose Conder Lewis Jacobson Rose Conder Lewis Jacobson passed away at the St. George Care Center on May 28, 2011. She was bom to George Alfred and Elizabeth Cousins Conder in American Fork, Utah on February 18, 1918.

She was the 10th of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her eldest son, William (Jana) Lewis; 8 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and 30 ft City, Utah. Since her father was an immigrant to the United States, Mary and her brothers and sisters eased his homesickness for Scotland by learning to play the bagpipes and dance Scottish folk dances. Her father took Mary and her siblings all over the Salt Lake Valley where they performed for audiences and marched in parades.

She graduated from West High School in Salt Lake in 1942. Her mother died when Mary was seventeen years of age, and she became a surrogate mother to her two brothers and one sister. She used the secretarial skills she obtained in high school in her jobs at the LDS Church Offices and the General Relief Society Office. Shortly after World War II ended, she met and married a young serviceman returning from the war, Dwain Ross Morrill, in November of 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. To this union three children were bom, Dwain obtained post-service training to become an expert carpenter and he built all the homes in which he and Mary and their children lived.

Mary used her skills at interior decorating and landscaping to make each home attractive. Mary worked as the school secretary at various schools in the Salt Lake School District and in the school district office itself, and eventually, retired from Riley Elementary School. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions throughout her life, including Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society Spiritual Living Leader, and teacher for various auxiliaries. Dwain and she served a mission to St. George, Utah.

Mary loved and cherished others. She touched the lives of many by sharing her talents whenever she had the opportunity to serve. Her infectious laughter and good sense of humor carried her through many of life's difficulties and through years of ill health. Mary was a gifted GEORGE -Christopher Mark Southwick, 53, of St. George, Utah, passed away late Thursday evening, May 26, 2011.

He had been helping his family set up a camp site in Pine Valley for the Memorial Day weekend when he began feeling symptoms of a heart attack. Emergency personnel worked diligently to save his life for over an hour. He was then transported by Life-Flight to Dixie Regional Medical Center where shortly after arriving he was pronounced dead. Chris was born March 8, 1958 and raised in Ogden, Utah to loving parents Paul and Beverly Southwick. He graduated from Ogden High in 1976 where he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Jill Belnap, on March, 14, 1980 in the LDS Logan Temple.

Chris served an LDS mission in Hamburg, Germany from 1 977 to 1 979. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from Weber State University in 1984 and finished his education with an MBA in 1987 from the University of Utah. Chris advanced his career in Michigan for 17 years at McLaren Regional Medical Center and then Providence Hospital as the Director of Cardiovascular Services. Chris is survived by his wife, Jill Belnap of St. George, Utah; children: Seth (Jennifer) Southwick of Moscow, Idaho, Mitch (Carolyn) Southwick of Ogden, Utah, Samantha (Cody) Crowther of St. George, Utah and El- lie Southwick of St. George, Utah; six grandchildren; ther, Paul; and siblings Craig, Selinda, Dave, Sue, Jon, and Lane.

He was pre- ceded in death by mother, Beverly and sister, Shauna. Chris was a great loving father, compassionate friend, and an inspirational" role model.
