Most expect little impact as long as Steve Jobs, Apple's iconic CEO, stays untouched. Apple shares dipped less than percent Thursday following a report the company gave Jobs 7.5 million stock options in 2001 without the required authorization of the board. The Financial Times reported Thursday that documents chronicling a full board meeting in late 2001 to approve the options were falsified, suggesting the options were backdated and improperly awarded. The British newspaper, which cited unnamed sources, said the falsified documents were being reviewed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which is looking into Apple's stock-options-granting practices. The news comes after a report this week in The Recorder, a legal publication, that federal prosecutors are looking into forged documents at Apple related to stock options.

It, too, cited unnamed sources. MORTUARY 170 S. Mall Dr. 627-0691 Sharon LaBass -Funeral Services: Tuesday, January 2, 2:00 p.m. at the Capilla LDS Chapel, 807 Capilla Drive, St George, Ut.
