16, 1920, in Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; wife, Barbara; daughter Nancy Donald; and three grandchildren. Remaining family members include his (Sherry), children Tom Marty Friedel (Julie), Debbie Daley (Mike) and Jim Friedel (Michelle); brother Todd Friedel (Zetta); 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Bloomington LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 3381 S.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack William Bowen; sisters Alice Manning and Dorothy Maher; half-sister Clara Christiansen; son Gregory Ostler Bowen; two grandsons; and one granddaughter. JUD BURKETT THE SPECTRUM DAILY NEWS Boy injured in traffic accident By Nur Kausar ST. GEORGE A 10-yearold boy is being treated for serious injuries after a vehicle hit him near 650 N. 2230 E. in St. George Tuesday.

St. George Police Lt. Joseph Hartman said the boy had been on his bicycle crossing the street from west to east when a vehicle making a right turn hit him just after 4 p.m. Hartman said police had not yet completed the investigation as of 5 p.m. and did not know if the vehicle had run completely over the boy.

The vehicle's speed was low because the driver was in the process of turn- ing, Hartman a added. The driver had not been cited, but Hartman said that could change at the end of the investigation. The injuries occurred mainly on the boy's stomach, Hartman said. He was transported by ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1919 to William John Koew and Maria Anna deMik in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1937 she married Raymond Hall Ross in Tooele, Utah and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hall Ross; a son, Richard Ronald Ross, her parents; a brother, William J. Koew; and sisters, LaVon Haddaway and Marie Muchow. Katherine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities. She especially loved serving in music positions.

She was a devoted wife and mother.
