DEATH NOTICES Reba Adams Bracken Reba Adams Bracken, age 86, passed away December 4, 2010, in St. George, Utah. She was bom in Washington, Utah, on July 21, 1924, to Claude Jordan Adams and Myrtle Tullis. She married Ronald Wallace Bracken on October 21, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were sealed later in the St.

George LDS Temple. They started their married life together working in Southern California. While Ronald served in WWII, Reba came back to Southern Utah where, after the war, they raised their family together. They were the best of friends. Reba loved to laugh with people.

She loved her family and spent countless hours caring for and laughing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love and kindness extended far beyond her family. She quietly fed and clothed hundreds of friends and strangers without saying a word. Reba loved being on Kolob Mountain. This was a special place for her where she felt closer to heaven than anywhere on earth.

She enjoyed many summers with family and friends on the mountain and worked hard to make it a place where all felt welcome and loved. Reba will be fondly remembered for wonderful cooking, an avid fan of the Utah Jazz, and her contagious laugh. She had the gift of making people feel loved. She is survived by her three children and one foster child, Ronald (Lynda) Bracken of St. George; Brenda Sanderson of Bloomington; Delwyn Bracken of St.

George; and Jason Yazzie of Fort Defiance, Arizona; 1 3 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren with one on the way and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Larry Adams of Washington, UT. She is preceded by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Brant and Blaine Adams; her sister, Bonnie Milne; and great-grandson, Weston Morrell. Bluff pcmirmrt nprritstomir nnlv atfVHarrirv St a a a a a aja FREDO-NIA Edith Ruth Maxine Morris Holmes, age 83, passed away peacefully on De cember 4, 2010 at her home in Fredo-nia, Arizona. She was born May 10, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Sarah Erith Parton and William Alonzo Morris, one of eight children.

She married Ora La-fate Holmes on January 8, 1944 in Holbrook, Arizona. He died December 21, 2009. Edith was a very dynamic person who was always busy with several projects at the same time. She was active in the Fredonia community, was a charter member of the Fredonia Women's Club, was instrumental in helping get the Fredonia Library started, and taught Kindergarten at Fredonia for over 10 years. She served as the editor of the "Arizona Strip the first Fredonia newspaper.

She retired as the Fredonia Postmaster and as a Juvenile Probation Officer when her health started to decline. Family always was top of the list for Edith. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed family outings, especially picnics on the mountain. She also enjoyed wood carving Kachina dolls and was a talented silversmith. Survivors include sons Michael Lafate (Loretta) Holmes of Ivins, Utah and Ronnie Lee (Doylene) Holmes of Fredonia; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ora and all of her siblings; Beatrice, Nell, Doyce, Jimmy, Jesse, Lon-nie and Bill. A viewing will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at Mortuary in Kanab, with burial at the Fredonia Cemetery at 12:00 Noon. Arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary. He was born on August 14, 1926 in Cedar City, Utah to Angus Bladen and Mary Naomi Nelson Bulloch. He married Jerry Barney on April 14, 1951, their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple in 1964. Archie was known as "A Hard Working a sheepherder, truck driver, farmer and a lineman for California Pacific National.

Arch was electrocuted in 1972 which resulted in the loss of his arms. This unfortunate accident did not stop Arch's desire to make the most of life. He enjoyed time on the mountain property, (driving snowmobiles, four wheelers and riding horses) on the farm, western movies, winters in Yuma, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Most importantly, Archie enjoyed his time with his sweetheart, Jerry. He is survived by his wife Jerry.

His children; Lee Angus Bulloch of Cedar City, Clay (Carolyn) Bulloch of Cedar City, Dean (Pauline) Bulloch of Cedar City, and daughter-in-law Winora Bulloch of Cedar City, UT. His brother Melvin (Glenna) Bulloch of Cedar City, sister Mary Klatt of St. Geroge, along with 10 wonderful grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Lyn Ray Bulloch, daughter-in-law JoAnn Bulloch, brother Nelson Bulloch and sisters Cleo (Renn) Taylor, Afton and Helen Bulloch. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Rock Church located at 75 East Center in Cedar City, Utah.

She was born in Hildale on June 25,.: 1948 to William Benjamin and Josephine Balmforth Cooke. She married Aaron Rasmussen July 19, 1991, in the St. GeorgeTemple. She is survived by her husband, Aaron "Burr" Rasmussen; children, William F. Cassidy, Clinton Leland and Marcia Rasmussen, Joseph Aaron and Brooke Rasmussen, Jason Leroy and Gabby Rasmussen, Jessica Anne and Billy Tutor, Dawn Jeanine Rasmussen, Maggie Kathleen and Myron Nilsson, Michael Van and Chantel Rasmussen, Robyn Joanne and Erwin Pledger; 15 grandchildren; and brothers, Jerry Smith and Dale Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents Orvil and Muriel Smith.

He was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Emery, to Ferry C. Broderick and Fanny Irene Pierce. He was married to Bernice Cox on May 24, 1947, in the St. George LDS temple.

LaMar is survived by his wife, Bernice Cox Broderick; ten children; 56 grandchildren, and a growing number of greatgrandchildren. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 250 S. 700 Hurricane. She was born August 3, 1917 to Levi Marion Ella Riding Bybee in Tropic. She married Carl Syrett November 19, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death September 27, 1993. Mom is survived by: children, Arthur (Vicki), MonDell (Florence), Roderick (Kath-ern), Frederick (Tonya), Shauna (Blaine) Anderson, Karleen (Dean) Mclnelly; daughter-in-law, Beverly Marshall; 80 grandchildren, 145 great-grandchildren, 15 great-greatgrandchildren.
