The 3rd Ward was the roadshow night held by the St. George West Funny Thing Happened on the way to Lunch" is but one of six wards who presented roadshows during Stake. The play's the thing' West Stake enjoys road show night the various courses of the menu itself.

The show was written and directed by Lucille Talyor with original music by D'on Snow and Cora Sheffield, roadshow specialist and makeup done by Martha Leavitt. Other roadshows presented included "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Grandmas' House, which was presented by the 18th Ward. It was written and directed by Eilene Wilson and featured 31 ward members of all ages, including Brother Robert Eves as the big bad wolf. The 15th Ward presented "A Funny Thing Happened on the way to Fitness" that was written and directed by fl'f it addition, a girls quartet consisting of Sherrie Losee, Angela Gubler, Jaylyn Al-ldredge and Melanie' Stauffer sang a number. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Pres.

George Peacock, while Brother Dan Frei of the Stake Activities Committee assisted with introductions and concluding remarks. In closing the evening of activities, Stake President H. Bruce Stucki complimented everyone who had participated in the production of the roadshows, and encouraged them to continue improving thei skill and tal--ents they had all displayed during the evening. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Pearly Gates" was produced by the 14th Ward and was directed by Karen Westfall and Carolyn McDonald with music direction by Marilyn Larsen with Gerlinda Braunberger as a special advisor. The play was written by Carolyn McDonald, Gerlinda Braunberger and Karen Westfall, and featured 50 ward members including all three members of the bishopric. The 17th Wards' roadshow, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Rainbow," told the story of Noah and the Ark, and the biblical ac- ST. In addition to the first place award, certificates of recognition were presented to each of the wards in one area where their show excelled.
