Alfred L. Konold LEEDS, Utah Alfred' Leroy Konold, age 86, died at his home Jan. 4, 1994. He was born June 7, 1908, to Alfred and Virginia Strong Konold. He married Leona H. Anderson Anderson May 27, 1947, in Salt Lake City. Alfred was a plumber for 53 years and had his own plumbing business in Salt Lake City and Leeds, Utah. An active member of the LDS Church, he held the office of High Priest. He enjoyed hunting and playing playing baseball. Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Leona of Leeds; Bob Konold of Portland, Ore.; Ruth Lind of Portland; Portland; Charotte Peterson of Los Osos, Calif.; Davey Konold of Vancover, Wash.; Kathleen Benton of Salt Lake City; Douglas Konold of Overton, Nev.; Royetta Dowland of Sandy, Utah; 20 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren greatgrandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild. great-greatgrandchild. great-greatgrandchild. great-greatgrandchild. Funeral services are Saturday, Jan. 8, 1994, at 2 p.m. at the Leeds, Utah LDS Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 7-8 7-8 7-8 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary, 300 West St. George Blvd., and on Saturday from 1-2 1-2 1-2 p.m. at the Leeds Chapel prior to services.
